This piece follows Walker, the Wound, as he’s investigating a member of the Militia, capturing the moment before a confrontation, and a battle he’s sure to remember, featuring my latest design for the character, and a new design for a new enemy.
Set in Port Guidry, a dystopian echo of New Orleans where sprawling megacorporations have taken control, the city’s underclass have been reduced to expendable labor, trapped in a system of poverty and corporate dominance. The environment of this piece reflects the world’s harsh conditions—-gritty, unstable, and on the brink of collapse, mirroring the psychological and physical state of the vigilante fighting this corruption, known as the Wound.
